I've created this site for a couple of reasons.
  1. To keep track of my own resources.  Things tend to get swallowed up and lost or misplaced, particularly when I've changed schools.
  2. To share with other people.
There are a few Maths sites on the Internet I find really useful.  However, most of the sites dedicated to pooling and sharing lots of different people's resources inevitably end up messy and difficult to navigate, and full of incomplete or incomprehensible slides.

I'm also not a big fan of distracting themes & pictures on PowerPoint slides - rarely do they make them fun - more often than not they just become cluttered, noisy and confusing.

So I'm trying to keep my slides clean and clear, with visuals only where they aid understanding (including for EAL learners).  I'm trying to keep the look of what I produce fairly consistent.

Others are more than welcome to suggest modifications to my resources, or produce extra accompanying resources.  Or, even resources on topics that are simply missing from the site.  It is my site, though, so don't be offended if I don't upload things that aren't consistent with what I'm trying to do.

Do please feel free to comment on any resources on here and let me know what you think, or you can email me if you have any additions or modifications you'd like to share with the world.  Conversions to different file formats might be particularly welcome.

The address I'm using for this site is mrhatchard@gmail.com.

For the moment, the resources on here are really aimed at classroom use, but I try to make most of my slides clear enough so that they're fairly useful revision tools too.

Oh, and don't forget to share this site with others if you find it useful, and consider donating to The Hoja Project.  It would make my day.
